Raw Stuffing recipe and Cranberry Sauce

Both of these dishes are so easy and delicious. What a great way to add raw into your Thanksgiving Day! I intended to add a sweetener to the cranberry sauce but I tried it first and I loved the flavor without any added sweetener. Feel free to add a date or some raw honey if it is too sour for you.
Raw Cranberry Sauce
1.5 cups raw cranberries
Juice of 1 orange
Small chunk of ginger
Method: Pulse in food processor until desired texture is reached.

You can eat raw foods all winter long with warm raw soups! Use the Vitamix to slowly warm your soups while blending. Try this healing Energy Soup recipe!

Energy Soup Recipe

Yield: 8-9 cups

2 cups green juice
2 cups filtered water
1 cup spinach
½ cucumber
½ red bell pepper
1 stalk celery
1 ½ cups sunflower sprouts
½ avocado
1 Tbs dulse flakes
1 clove garlic
1 tsp fresh ginger

Method: In a blender, combine all ingredients. Blend well and season to taste.


Marinated Asparagus Recipe With Fennel And Pumpkin Seeds

This recipe makes a wonderful side dish for any raw meal. I like to pair this with the zucchini pasta and creamy red pepper sauce recipe for that real Italian feel.
Pumpkin seeds are fabulous for you – they have amino acids and unsaturated fatty acids, contain many B vitamins, as well as C, D, E and K. They also have wonderful minerals like calcium, potassium, phosphorous and niacin. Feel free to much on these all day long!

Raw Chili Recipe – The Works!

Here’s another great warming comfort food – Raw Chili. Enjoy this hearty chili on a chilly fall day!
Raw Chili – The Works!
2 cups blended tomatoes (3-4 tomatoes or 1-2 large tomatoes)
1/2 cucumber peeled
1/2 red bell pepper seeded
1/2 cup fresh basil
1/2 cup fresh cilantro
1/2 cup whole leaf dulse
3 cloves garlic
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup nama shoyu
1 1/2 Tbs chili powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp sea salt
Top with sprouts, avocados, scallions and jalapenos!
1. In a high-speed blender, combine all of the ingredients and blend until smooth Garnish with sprouts, avocados, scallions and jalapenos.

Pumpkin Soup Recipe With Dill and Sun-dried Tomatoes

This week I bring you another pumpkin recipe. This soup is slightly warmed in the vita-mix and and makes for a perfect fall comfort food. Enjoy this soup on a chilly fall day!
